This stand has the worst assembly instructions I have ever seen. Minimum of words and diagrams. It doesn't even show you all the parts that should be in the box or how they fit together, which isn't as easy as it sounds. When I opened the box, the important piece that attaches directly to the stand and tablet holder must have slipped out unnoticed and gotten under my chair. Since they don't show you what's in the box, there was no way I could have known an item was missing. Once I somehow attached the mount to the base, it flopped. I disassembled it to send it back. As I got up to get the box, I saw the missing piece under my chair. I played with it until I figured out how all the pieces fit together and put it back together - because again the worst guide ever. It was a real challenge putting my iPad Pro in to see how it works. It doesn't even hold the tablet horizontally - the sides of the mount don't stretch that far, so mount it with the sides of the mount up and down a short width, then rotate the mount. If I rotate the mount so the tablet is far away, which I prefer for virtual meetings, it falls right through. It doesn't match the iPad Pro in any way. Thank goodness for the carpet, otherwise my dear iPad could have broken. I don't recommend it and would return it if it was more expensive, but it's just not worth the time and effort. I will donate this. You should be aware that it is not suitable for the iPad Pro. I wish I had read the one to three star reviews before purchasing or I would have known. I have no problem with the mechanics, but assembly isn't as intuitive as you might think given the simplicity of the design. Without a list of the parts included in the box, I could not determine that a key assembly part was missing. Find another stand.
