A while ago there were a few changes/events in our house in a short space of time that caused my somewhat shy but normally clingy velcro cat to have some kind of nervous breakdown, hiding in the basement, obsessively grooming and pulled out parts of their fur and bite their skin until it bled. We tried several products to try to heal her skin but in the end we realized it could be a psychological issue. We bought her, started giving her twice a day and after a few days she was again spending most of her time upstairs and although she was still nervous there was a noticeable improvement. By the next week, she had stopped compulsively grooming and biting, and soon even started playing again. After the first pack we ordered another one and reduced her dose to one a day and left her on until her skin healed and her fur grew back. In the end she came back to herself. We recently decided to add our first dog to the family. As a preventive measure, we put it back on the cat once a day and she is taking the new supplement better than we ever expected. She doesn't appreciate the dog, but doesn't seem to bother her too much about their presence in the house, other than hissing when she gets too close. No hide-and-seek in the basement, no exaggerated shyness, no skin-biting or compulsion to groom. I definitely recommend them, especially if you have a nervous cat and have some upcoming house changes. Unlike most pet calming products, they can be used daily for a long period of time. They're a little big and don't smell like regular cat treats, but my cat eats them anyway.
