I bought this camera on a whim when it was on sale for about $10 or so. Image quality is comparable to a budget laptop from the early 2010s. I mean terrible. Even with the right lighting • Very grainy, even compared to a laptop webcam • Dark. (The backlight isn't bad, but the camera sensor is so small it makes almost no noticeable difference in the image) • Cheap build quality. All in all, if you see one on sale and are desperate for a USB webcam, it does the job. Just don't expect it to be better than your laptop's built-in camera. This is the ultimate low budget option. Quality will not be a big problem.
