They work very well. I recently cleared out my cupboards and ordered two sets to hold my bakeware and some of these are quite heavy. There's also a selection of parts that allow you to choose different shapes for specific pans. The only problem is that the tower portion isn't that tall, and since the space above my oven is tall, I had enough room to go up a few inches and store more pans. If you don't use both sides as shown in the image, you will have too many posts to use them all. I positioned mine next to the wall unit so I could only use one side as using both would place the tower in the center and one side inaccessible. I didn't know what to do with the rest of the shelves, one for each set. I'll take care of that, but it would be nice if you could use all the pieces without having to use both sides.
