Review on Portable Bluetooth Shortwave Transistor Radio by Mike Betzing

I wanted the BT radio/speakers on the back porch where they would sit on a mid-century vintage wood and vinyl bar. This radio looked good. Pros: Nice design Illuminated tuner button Built-in rechargeable battery Decent sound (I'm being generous) Good FM reception of local stations Cons: Overly sensitive volume control - it's either inaudible or VERY LOUD! Poor grip build quality - Settings are inaccurate with grip pointing to a radio setting, it's actually a BT setting, etc. Poor Bluetooth connection - that was the turning point. When I paused the music on my phone, the device broke the BT connection. (and this is with a recent iPhone and not a non brand or old phone) I am sending it back tomorrow and will continue the search.
