It does NOT hold ANY professional finish

The ball and cup design on the part that connects to the tray feels strong. The pivoting part at the end of the clamp seemed solid. Poorly designed and executed center socket head screw adjustment ruins the whole thing. It's not tight enough to hold the Surface Pro as advertised on the website, and the screw isn't strong enough not to come loose when you try to tighten it. In other cases, the rotating base next to the clip only rotates 270 degrees, so you can't rotate it directly behind the clip. Although easy to assemble, there is a long L-shaped bracket that hangs under the table. It gets in the way if you want to sit close to the stand, makes turning the handle that holds the stand to the table difficult, and prevents you from turning the Allen wrench more than a half turn at a time when tightening the three screws that hold the den Attach the L-bracket to the stand. The maximum extension range of the stand is only about 15 inches.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine
