Nice color and quality on the outside and looks exactly like the photo. The general folder was slightly larger than expected and barely fit in a pocket. The interior of the pen case is fairly small and made out of flimsy material (I think it will tear fairly quickly/easily), and the built-in drop-down folders are a bit less sturdy. There was also the potential concern that if any marker/pen/etc were in this case, god forbid they would leak and damage all of the contents inside. The Mead zipped wallet was my competition and I left the Mead for the quality (equal if not better), half the price and has an internal extra pocket on the back for extra storage and functionality or to insert a notepad. The overall size of the folders when closed is more compact, making them easier to pack and slip into a backpack/bag. I also liked the pen holder (2) on the outside, so a leak doesn't hurt and the documents stay even/flat. More expanding file, medium.
