You can still do a good homemade perm!

This is the second perm of this type I've used in the last 20 years or so and again it didn't disappoint. I'm not the agile young man I used to be, so curling my hair was a little difficult, but I persevered and was finally able to apply lotion and neutralizer. I have to say that when the lotion gets on the skin it burns badly and leaves a rash for several days, but for me it was worth it. This gave a very nice curl and seems to last quite a while. Not being able to go to a perm salon in California right now, I was very grateful for that.
