I am very happy with Quantum Perm and have been using it for over 20 years. I am very thankful that I can order them online as it is impossible to find them in my city. I never have split ends, my hair looks soft and healthy. I wouldn't consider using any other brand. Now I'm 84 and I've always done my own perms.

Effective product with clear instructions. I recommend thoroughly patting your perm wands dry with a towel after rinsing off the activator, and even blow-drying each wand for a minute before applying the neutralizer. This will ensure your hair can absorb the neutralizer properly as it will not get wet. I also recommend buying two boxes if your hair is shoulder length or longer. I've been using the Quantum brand since the 1990's and I've always had great results. The hair becomes soft and curly, almost without damage. I recommend buying gloves, wrapping paper and poles. I didn't buy a roll of cotton balls, I just took a long strip of toilet paper, folded it in half and twisted it to collect the drips around my face and ears. This is the second perm of this type I've used in the last 20 years or so and again it didn't disappoint. I have bought this perm twice already. It's quite harsh on my hair because it dries it out but my hair is hard to hold the curls and this perm works really well for my hair to keep the curls. About the 3rd or 4th day after washing and conditioning, my hair looks great. Happy with my purchase and the price is great.
