Yes I gave a five star rating but that doesn't mean I didn't have problems. it is almost unbearable to wear. After removing the pads and letting them lie flat under some weight, they regained their correct shape. However, the pockets they slide into cause them to curl a bit (on purpose I think). There was nothing to get excited about. Next is the size and carrier. I'm a small person of 5ft 5in, I can fit in big kids shirts so I expect things to be big for me. However, the sleeves are at least 4 inches longer than my arms. The fingers are stretched out, it is not visible from the sleeves. I have these devices that eliminate the straps on the ends. Then I started tying the sleeves and while pulling the velcro back into place the whole strap came loose from the coat. My seamstress sews them on for me too. Finally, I can pull the straps at the bottom far enough to tighten my waist, but the velcro barely touches and I'm sure it will come loose as you move. I will be wearing this jacket in the summer so most of it is unnecessary. Problem; I fix what I can and accept what I can't because it costs less than $50. The reason I'm giving this five stars is because Hawk is great at responding to my emails and making things right. Fulfill your expectations with an inexpensive coat that you may need to have custom made. Overall, I'm still spending under $100 on them, and if you want more, I wholeheartedly recommend shopping in-store so you can try them on, but expect to pay at least twice as much.
