Review on Enhance Your Space with the Sangean WR-15SR Table Top Wooden Radio in Silver Piano Finish by Jeff Pettis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The sound reminds me of old KLH radios

This radio is small and replaces the 4 inch cube clock radio that died. I use it in my bathroom to listen to NPR in the morning. With its internal antenna, the Sangean can receive far better distant stations than the Cube and is very selective in the tuning. We live about 50 miles from our station and the reception is fantastic. It's definitely too much for my bathroom, but it does a great job. Plenty of volume and room-filling sound is present and would be at home in a living room or office. The size and sound remind me of Radio Shack's Minimus speakers. Excellent! Bass is there, but not As another reviewer suggested, adding a cotton swab into the hole on the back of the receiver cuts the bass for these talk shows.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Makes me nervous
