Typical Sitka in the sense that it's breathable, dries quickly and is warm. Very comfortable, after the first wash eliminates stiffness. When it's windy and cold you need a shell because knitwear doesn't protect against the wind. It fits true to size; I'm comfortable in a large, I'm 5ft 7in and 175lbs. I just wore it while traveling through the high Utah desert and it was amazing on a cold morning. would recommend.
