Review on ⌚️ Timex Men's Easy Reader Day-Date Expansion Band Wristwatch by Abby Libbett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent easy to read dial even in the dark!

I am a woman but I like the larger face of this men's watch, not too big and not too small. It has a white background with black numerals and a red second hand. The best part for me is that while it's analog (which I prefer), it has rotating dials for both the day of the week and the date, which is pretty hard to find these days. The dial also lights up (indiglo function) when you press the watch's single stem, which is also used to change the time, day of the week and date, giving it a streamlined look like an old-fashioned watch. Changing the day of the week and date is done by dragging the watch's stem (two different stages) and turning the watch forward or backward through the 24 hours of the day. Note when the desired day of the week appears on the dial - it will be after 12pm, then set the hour accordingly. The date also changes after 00:00 (approx. 02:00), so you have to match the day of the week and the date by turning the dial. Initially, setting the day and date might seem a little painful in this world of instant gratification we live in now, but once it's set, you can work for a while. I only had to reset mine because of a leap year, but that only happens once every 4 years! The Timex is not a fancy watch, but it is known to be reliable.

Pros
  • Good assembly
Cons
  • The list is getting long.
