I needed a clamp meter to test the load in a circuit. I won't be using it every day so I wanted something cheap and got this one. I was very surprised when I received it. It's amazingly accurate and of high quality. In fact, this instrument is more accurate than any of my more expensive multimeters. I also like the fact that it has a number of built-in functions of a regular multimeter (resistance, capacitance, diodes, etc.). The probe cables are also of good quality and a nice carry case is included to carry everything. Cons - The NCV feature doesn't work very well. For example, it won't work if you plug it into an outlet, but it will work if you plug it into the panel. The only other minor thing is that the meter doesn't have the ability to measure frequency or duty cycle, but that's hard to find in any $20 meter. All in all I would recommend this.
