Not good for fighting.

I have Boston Terriers. Long story short, the puppies are trying to kick their dad's butt. I have used Bitter Apple Spray successfully in the past to get dogs to stop fighting. I decided to try this product. Unfortunately, when the boys attacked their father again, I jumped into the fray and stuck the nozzle in their mouths and squirted and squirted. You have to be careful not to smack them in the face, and the nozzle only sprays mist, so you basically have to put it in your mouth. Nothing. They just kept tugging at each other like I gave them a sip of water. And they ripped off the lid so 7/8 of the bottle fell on the floor. I managed to collect them in an enclosure and put them in a kennel, and I decided to try it myself. Put something in my hand, dip your fingertip, put it on any tongue. Oh God. It's terrible. It's absolutely awful. I have no idea how it didn't scare my dogs away. And it lasts a good 20 minutes even after constant rinsing. So once you hit the surface, it stays there for a while. I believe this product works great for keeping dogs from easy licking caused by boredom, OCD and wound dressings, but unfortunately it doesn't phase attack dogs.

Pros
  • Repellent Spray
Cons
  • Not as thick as other products
