Am I just a fool?: Iron

Looks like a good iron. It's heavy and a lot bigger than I thought it would be (wish it was smaller). I don't iron much even though I've been using it for 50 years. I dropped my old iron and it broke so I bought this one. To be honest, this iron is too complicated for my needs and since I don't use it that often I have to pull out the manual every time because I don't remember what the knobs and controls are for. . There's no ON/OFF switch and the dial is behind the grip, making it difficult to read, and there's no easy-to-read arrow to show the dial's setting. I had to take some nail polish and draw a raised arrow. The only legible label is the MΓΌller mark on the side of the iron! The cable does not retract as it should. I need to insert the cord into the storage hole. I'll keep and use it until it dies, but I would have preferred a much smaller, simpler iron with easy to read buttons and dials.

  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great
