You can feel the quality. I switched to this one after using a cheap one to see if I wanted safety razors. I've often used an old razor cut, but with this razor that's no problem. It has a nice design and looks like a quality razor that even survives a fall unlike my previous one. This is great for getting those fine hairs that cartridge razors miss. It also doesn't close up like a cartridge razor if your hair is too long. good investment I can say I will be using this for years (and saving a ton of money on blades!)
