Unfortunately I had to change my first impression of these bags. The bags I received are not of the specified thickness. I have been freeze drying food for over 3 years. It's barely 7.4ml. Compared to two other mylar bag suppliers. I ran out of bags from these companies and didn't immediately recognize the subtlety of these bags. I would be surprised if it was 5ml let alone 7.4. They are sufficient, work perfectly, but have had 2 unsuccessful suction attempts since then. Again it seems like you get what you pay for as these bags were cheaper than the bags I usually buy from another company. I will return to this company. I have never had a crash or problem in 3 years from the other 2 companies. They also sell on Revain, look at reviews and the number of reviews, and pay an extra dollar.
