This is a really versatile poncho and the colors are beautiful. Anywhere below what you like and it will still guarantee you warmth. No washing instructions came or what it's made of, but I can tell you the material is very thin. I put it on without great expectations but the poncho is very warm. It is neither microfiber nor wool and still keeps you warm. Because the fabric is thin, I hand wash when needed. Poncho is a great gift for New Year or birthday. It's really pretty and goes great with jeans.
