I bought an Edge in 2013 that someone had to use Scotchbrite to clean the windshield (didn't know until I drove it at night, headlights glowed the whole window is like giant owl eyes) I spoke to several glass artisans and only one place polished the glass and said it would cost $200. I spoke to the manager I bought it from and he sent me a check for $200. So I tried Meguire's Swirl X and Chemical V36 and Blackfire polish with my 7424XP polish and it didn't work. Then, after further research, I read about cerium oxide. I bought a pair and flat felt pads from Groyts. Mix it up a little with water (tape the edges of the window and cover everything else to keep spills to a minimum) and make a one square foot area, working left to right and then from top to bottom and moisten with water. spray. Worked this area for about 5 minutes and then did the top part. I rode it when it got dark and I can tell you IT WORKS, I couldn't stop smiling. All the scratches are gone and the glass is like new, the headlights of the oncoming vehicle became like headlights again. I highly recommend this material if you have the same problem as me. I'll finish the rest of the window today.
