Our Hollyland Mars 300 Pro has been around for about a week now and we've used it on a number of projects. This is a huge improvement over the original Mars 300, especially considering the price is almost the same. Favorite Features: 1) Lower Latency - Upgrading from 300 to 300 Pro gets you 0.08 seconds instead of 0.1 seconds. It's a noticeable improvement that helps with focus. 2) Built-in side OLED screens to display status, battery level and channel. Much better than the old model that only had LED backlighting. 3) Lightweight. That's literally half the size of my Teradek. I will most likely use this on a small camera setup and I really like the built in antennas on the receiver. 4) The ability to broadcast to a receiver AND up to 2 mobile devices at the same time - this is probably my new favorite feature, giving you the ability to use your HOLLYLAND app and broadcast the signal to other mobile devices on set, e.g. than iOS - and Android devices. We send a separate signal to our producer's phone and they love being able to see the camera in real time without having to go on set with all the Covid and social distancing that we see on set these days. 5) USB-C - Instead of the old DC adapter, you can now power your receiver and transmitter via USB-C. And you can also update devices via USB ports. Not that it matters much, but it's still nice to see that it's more compatible with modern devices. Overall, if you're looking for a wireless transmitter system, the Hollyland Mars Pro 300 is a great option, and for 469 Dinero there aren't too many of them. other competitors in the same price range with similar features.
