Changed spark plugs for the first time on my 2014 Ram 5.7 Hemi. Not without this tool. It maneuvers exactly how you want it and the magnet fits perfectly and helps with retrieval. A NOTICE. When removing the spark plugs, insert this connector into the chamber and twist by hand until it clicks into place. THEN attach an extension or ratchet (some cylinders require an extension, cylinders further back do not) and remove. After it has disengaged, you can remove the ratchet and pry the connector out with your finger. BEFORE installing a new connector, coat the threads with anti-seize and dielectric grease (use very little of both), insert the connector. into the socket and GENTLY lower it into the chamber with YOUR HAND. BEFORE TIGHTENING THE PLUG, TURN THE SOCKET **SLOWLY** BY HAND UNTIL YOU FEEL IT GOING ON THE THREADS! SIMPLY CLICK! DO NOT THREAD THE FORK OR YOU WILL HAVE A VERY BAD DAY! Then tighten it by hand until it stops. Tighten until you feel the crush washer is pinched and almost blocked. Don't overtighten! Then on to the next. I've replaced all 16 factory spark plugs with new iridium ones and the throttle response and MPG increase are excellent. Much luck!
