I just tossed my second broken Pampered Chef (PC) cheese grater in the trash and was so frustrated I will never find another grater that works as well as this one. Both PC rubs broke in the same place, so I finally decided it was time to try something different. I was a little scared to try this when I read another review that said they were available at IKEA for $5! Thought they couldn't be as good if they were only $5 at IKEA! So yes, the prices are high here, but I can never make it into the IKEA store. I've used it a few times and I'm so glad I bought it! I really wanted a grater with a coarse grater, and many other graters only have super fine graters. This works amazing! I always microwave my cheese for about 7 seconds at 50% power to remove the moisture before grating so the cheese doesn't get stuck in the grater. (A trick I learned at a computer party). Grates cheese fabulous! Couldn't be happier and highly recommend! Update: I've owned it for almost 11 months and it just broke. In the last 4 months it had all sorts of cracks and the handle finally broke down. I was very annoyed at how finely I had to chop the cheese to put it on the grater. Grinding would take quite a long time if I wanted to grate more than a little. You also need to apply some pressure to shred it. I'd say it's $5 at IKEA, now I think I overpaid for $15 and it's definitely not worth the current price of $33! I'm looking for another grater
