Wish 4.5 stars were an option. I ordered a few of these and assembled them today. They are well designed and were packaged very well. Manufacturing tolerances were actually much better than expected based on my previous experience with this class of furniture at this price point. Everything fitted well, and all the panels and trim turned out to be impressively square. Even the gaps between the drawers and the case were fairly even. You need some time to collect. In all, I spent almost 4 hours with the pair (including the time it took to set up a small, padded workbench to assemble them, collect all the necessary tools in the garage, clean and disassemble them, and put them in a recycling bin pack). . .) As always. Be careful never to over-tighten the fasteners in the chipboard. The instructions were well written and illustrated and even highlighted the most common pitfalls to avoid. Again, this was better than expected based on previous experience with other products. A small piece of hardware was missing from the package, which luckily didn't stop me from getting fully assembled and I can install it later to make one of the drawers sturdier. There was also a very small defect on one of the front panels of the box. And I mean very small. Maybe 1mm x 3mm. I will write to CS and ask them to solve these two problems. I will update if this experience is significantly worse or better than expected. Overall I'm very happy with it. especially considering the price. Again, I wish 4.5 was an option. My experience was not "perfect". but it was close.
