This backpack has its pros and cons. Pros: This is a very comfortable backpack. The sunglass compartment is big! I like the organizer pocket. It has many organizational pockets to keep your belongings neat and easy to find. I really like the iPad case. The straps are a bit stiff but should soften as you wear them. I like how they are sketched. I had no idea how hard it was to find a bag with two water bottle holders and everything else I wanted! I love my Herschel but without the bottle cages. They even fit in large water bottles. I like that I can remove the hip belt. I also really like the color and fabric. Cons: This bag doesn't stand up on its own and won't stand up even when full. The bottom is sloped, not flat. The bag is heavy even when empty! It is not that big. I thought it would be a lot bigger but it fits my computer and maybe some books. If you are looking for something that can carry a lot of school books, this is not the bag! My plan is to use this for flying and I was able to fit all my stuff in the diaper bag with ease.
