Review on ๐Ÿ”ฆ Super Bright 128 LED UV Blacklight Flashlight for Pet Urine Stains, Bed Bugs, Scorpions Hunting - Pet Dog Cat Urine Detector Light by Chinelo Aranjo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent brightness, spread and price

I have used Pocket 12 LED, Medium 51 LED and 128 LED Blacklights and although you would expect a 128 LED flashlight to be better than cheaper flashlights with less LEDs, if this is the case, one in particular outperforms the competition given its price tag of around $20. While flashlights with fewer LEDs are certainly cheaper, I can't say the savings are worth the quality you would sacrifice (unless you plan on using them in very dark places). While there are better quality black lights out there with 128+ LEDs, I can't say the price hike is worth the marginal gain in quality/efficiency. The spread and intensity of this light allows you to cover large areas without the need for complete darkness and it does exactly what I needed to find hidden animal urine and various other stains. I have high lumen incandescent bulbs (alternative 100w LEDs) in my house so I didn't expect them to be very useful with the lights on and yet even directly under the light I could see spots from this flashlight (see photo) . ). It was much more efficient with the overhead light off, and even better with the ambient light off. I haven't owned it long enough to comment on battery life, but given its light output, I would expect it to drain batteries faster than dimmed flashlights with fewer LEDs, which I think is a fair compromise.
