My little son got my old remote and drooled on it. Even with fresh batteries it never worked again. I was nervous that I would have to spend a lot of money to get a replacement remote for the Insignia Roku TV until I found this one. I won't lie, I was a bit hesitant when I read that there is no programming, just pop in the batteries and go. As advertised, it does just that! All controls work and the shortcut keys (netflix etc.) in the remote launch apps with no issues. The front of the remote gives you a red feedback light when you press a button, letting you know when your batteries are low. Very convenient! I highly recommend this product and will buy again if I need another one.
