After reading the reviews I decided to give it a try. Received it in a thin translucent plastic packaging (pictured). There is a handprint of the person who "sprayed" the inside of the back. Luckily it's indoors - I've tried cleaning it and it seems to me that someone put all 5 fingertips on it as it dried and it left imprints. I have super obsessive compulsive disorder from devices so it bothered me. After putting both caps on, there were some imperfections on the case. If you look at some of the photos I uploaded, the edge details are not clean and rough. Other reviewers have also mentioned this. I think I'll try to archive them. Otherwise, the top cover looks like premium leather. It looks so smooth! The cutout of the Apple logo is perfect. It's great too. I wish the bottom cover had the same feel/exterior, or at least the same color (I ordered navy blue leather).
