Review on Powerful and Portable: Streamlight 66604 ๐Ÿ’ช MicroStream USB 250-Lumen Rechargeable Pocket Flashlight in Black by Bob Souza

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great flashlight for the price

As these rechargeable flashlights with non-replaceable batteries seem to wear out after a few years, I don't think it's worth spending a lot on. I've been out of the light long enough to test durability, but at this price point, the Microstream is already a winner. Sturdy construction and bright enough for everyday activities. The low mode is perfect for illuminating a car's engine bay, while the high mode is bright enough to light up my living room or scan my small garden. Slim design and light weight make it invisible in your pocket. The reversible clip is a great feature, but a zip tie may be needed to better secure it to the flashlight body. A few notes: - If this is important to you, this flashlight is made in China unlike some of the more expensive Streamlight flashlights. Suggestions. - According to the Streamlight website, the limited lifetime warranty excludes failure of the non-removable battery. - Black microstream starts in low mode on first press, while coyote color microstream starts in high mode. - I see reviews commenting on difficulty riding a bike from low to high. I've found that instead of pressing the button as quickly as possible, a steady double press is enough. If you're having trouble switching between modes, try slowing down instead of speeding up. There's a rhythm that the button likes.
