When I took them out of the box they looked like elf shoes. Long and thin. But when I put them on, size 11 fit perfectly. The Boa is great for a secure fit and can be dialed in while riding. I have a spur on my 6th toe that requires the shoe to stretch and the upper took a while to hold the stretch. I use for MTB, gravel and road. The only real issue is that they aren't very compatible with Shimano SPD pedals (I've tried a few different pairs). It is very difficult to get the tip to catch. I drive with chocks, that could be part of the problem. But iSSi pedals are no problem. And I would like them to run a little better, but there are other shoes for that.
