I actually abused this, but someone else might benefit from this review. I work at a local museum and our summer program included melting wax sticks so the kids could seal envelopes with wax stamps. This little furnace was such a tank. We've used it at least 4 or 5 times a week for about two hours and have never had a problem with it. We just threw in some sticks of wax and let the smelter do its magic. Such a great little device and it worked so well we never had to worry about using open flame candles around young children. Highly recommended. Especially if you need to melt the wax for stamping. Note: In the picture, a crayon has already been melted and a new one has just been added. The wax melted in just a few minutes, 10 minutes at most.
