Review on Brydge Keyboard Generation Aluminum Bluetooth Tablet Accessories by Tim Knain

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not to be confused with Brydge MAX+

I have used both Apple keyboards. Magic Keyboard and Logiteh Combo Touch. I love some aspects of both keyboards and am always on the look out for a keyboard case with function keys, a great trackpad to use on uneven surfaces like your lap. Brydge looks promising but ended up not being what I was looking for. Here is my list of pros and cons. Pros * Comes with a magnetic iPad holder. * The design allows you to easily adjust the viewing angle of your iPad (e.g. Macbook Pro). *Hundreds of dollars cheaper than Apple Magic Keyboard and Logitech Combo Touch.* Function keys on the top row.* Can be used on the lap with ease. May not install properly if you have a screen protector. *Requires built-in battery and blue prong to pair keyboard and trackpad. *Touchpad is not as responsive as Magic Keyboard or Combo Touch. Three-finger gestures don't work with this device.* The keyboard isn't as good as Magic Keyboard or Combo Touch. cheaper. The two major drawbacks for me are the clip mechanism that holds the iPad to the Brydge case and the inaccurate trackpad. If you agree to these limitations, then this case may be appropriate for you. A new Brydge MAX+ keyboard/trackpad case is available that solves two of my main issues, but I have yet to test it. However, the price is significantly more expensive at $199.99.
