The plastic clips are strong for now, but I've already snapped off the tips of some of the clips that were attached to the thicker poles of our roof basket. This mesh cargo binding has already completed 5 trips. We typically carry a 20-gallon plastic bin, a tent, sleeping bags, a large gym bag, and camping furniture in a rooftop basket, and this thing does it all. Highways, bumpy roads, no problems, no questions. This thing gets tangled easily, but I guess that's the nature of the beast. I would like the outside edges of the mesh and the clips to be a different color so they're easier to unclip in this case.
