I had a toilet mat that I used for several years but I really didn't like how much of a hassle it was to clean. It was 2 different pieces and the waterproof pad was actually wrapped around the edges in such a way that it was just messy and gritty to wash out of the hose. So I decided to upgrade as they don't seem to be made that way anymore. So I got this toilet rug and all the new design changes to what this one has are great! The carpet still catches dirt like an amulet so it doesn't get tracked everywhere and my cat doesn't mind walking on it. The handle on one end makes it easy to handle when I want to throw away the garbage I've collected, and it's easy to clean by simply spraying water from a hose and air drying in the sun. It's nice and big to make sure the cat doesn't just jump over it. Recommend! My only real complaint is that it comes folded in 4 sections and I wish they would ship it rolled up in a tube so it doesn't have creases that unfold on their own forever.
