This was a gift for my husband so I researched a lot of dueling bike cams. I watched an online video about the DV688 before purchasing it and was pleased with what I saw. A video online showed that the wiring harness was easy to connect and it was. Programming was easy, all you had to do was read the brochure page by page. I also bought the 128G micro card it is designed for because sometimes we do quite long rides and as the camera creates a file every time the bike turns on or off there is plenty of room on the card for many files. Downloading files to your computer was also easy. The image quality is excellent both day and night. Now my only issue might be water resistance as it is handlebar mounted and might not last as long in the Florida sun and rain as I believe for the bucks. I think we'll see May 18, 2019 when I was driving it kept flashing on and off so it was unplugged. Turned it back on but it won't start again. I checked the wiring, everything is fine, but it won't start. 5 months worked and nothing. Looks like returns and support ended in March. What a coincidence!
