Tisk Tisk: Gone in 60 minutes!

Broke at 1 o'clock! I needed a decent tool belt while helping build the barn. I'm not a pro so didn't want to spend professional money. The Bib Villas website rated this belt as a great weekend warrior. The boy was wrong to Bob. Tied on Saturday morning at 8am. A handful of 3-inch galvanized frame nails, a 21-ounce frame hammer, a speed square, and duct tape: bang, it all fell off. The belt broke in the clip. Day 1, Hour 1 of a 10 day build, I took time off to help. No time to go back, can't stop to run to the next low - 30 miles. So I threw a heated nail with a lighter, melted 2 small holes in the nylon strap and used a couple of pan head screws to hold the POS together to work. He worked well the rest of the week. Butโ€ฆ.1. Of course it shouldn't break2. Imagine you are on the roof beams and they break and someone below gets a head injury? 3. It SHOULD NOT BREAK IN THE FIRST HOUR. Don't buy it until they change the design of the straps.

Pros
  • Made of durable split leather
Cons
  • Hard to say
