Review on SENCO FinishPro® 18 Gauge Nailer ProSeries by Nick Ross

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Overall good first impression

Stuck when I first tried 2 inch nails. Cleared the jam and tried 1" and 5/8" which both worked. I had to adjust the depth to sink in a bit but that's ok. I used 1" nails to reattach the trim after replacing all the stuff on the porch screen, probably 100 nails, no problem, worked great. Used 5/8" nails to repair a table that fell down while falling 5-6 pads. It worked fine except I had to nail a few nails where the depth gauge didn't work. Then later I tried 2 inch nails. Test boards and I had to increase the compressor pressure to around 120# but after that it worked great. There are no more traffic jams. Used Hitachi nails on 5/8" and 1" and unknown brand on 2" (gifted to me). Lowe's had no less than 3000 Senco nails so I bought Hitachi. Instructions say to only use Senco but that can't be right. Or is it a legitimate thing to cover me up. I like the feel and the work, smooth and solid. You have to keep checking to see if the red light indicates low nail stock or not. It burns dry, when it's outside and marker stick Convenient carrying case, with space for a small pack or 2 nails Pivoting air connector is handy for hard-to-reach places Allows gun to fit back into case All the little things Like it very much so far Would buy again.
