Black protective case and power cord were good. Otherwise this device is unusable. I live in a target area with a high mosquito population. While fighting mosquitoes in my chair, I didn't hear a single click that indicated a dead mosquito in this device. I left it for observation for a week. There was an accidental zap. Does this device work? Yes. It just seems to me that with today's technology, a device like this would have to be effective in attracting mosquitoes in order to get the job done. It only increases the electricity bill.
