I've been using this tea strainer for a few weeks now and I find it a great and practical kitchen tool. It has enough water to fill a full cup of tea and the mesh of the strainer is fine enough to keep even small tea leaves out of my cup. However, I don't like using it for rooibos tea as it catches the smallest particles and takes forever to clean. I also used the Adagio tea infuser. I like that this one works a little better as you can use it on a mug that doesn't fit snugly and won't release the tea until you press the button. This allows you to control how much liquid goes into the cup, which is useful when there is more tea in the strainer than in the mug. Upper basket of the dishwasher. Sometimes water collects in the cycles and I have to rinse them out, but I've had no trouble getting them fully cleaned.
