My biggest problem with this book is that it only has one page. Including the cover, there are three valves. $7 is a bit expensive for what you get. On the other side, it has a cute little plum leaf that lifts to reveal a caterpillar. Also, an apple and a pear have a different texture. There is a squeaker on the back flap and a bite corner on the front flap. I bought this because I thought my then 4 month old daughter would love the crumpled pages, teething area and bright colors but she doesn't like it. She likes books, she likes crumpled toys, she likes colors, but for some reason not this. Even now at 7 months she drops it almost immediately when I give it to her. Maybe she'll like it better when she's a few months older.
