Before using this I used the Halo Sleepsack Swaddle. My child liked it, but was able to get his hands free quickly no matter how tightly I wrapped him, making it more likely to wake up at night. The Miracle Blanket holds his hands together with the flaps, and the weight of his body prevents him from releasing them no matter how he moves. The first night he used this blanket, he slept 8 hours. He slept 7 the next night and 9 the next night. Having previously slept no more than 4 hours straight, trust me when I say the Miracle Blanket is truly a miracle. This is actually the second one I've received, the first one I've received as a baby shower gift. At first I was hesitant to use it because swaddling my baby is not as easy as swaddling a halo. However, it's still a lot easier than a traditional swaddle, works a lot better, and my baby sleeps a few hours longer than in a Halo swaddle, so 100% worth it.
