Purchased to replace the display port cable I was using with the DP to USB-C dongle. Got a new monitor and wanted a smoother connection with a cable. It worked great. Can't ask for more. Using Macbook Pro 2016 for Samsung CRG9 Ultra Wide Display. There was some concern when I heard there were connectivity and display issues between older MacBooks and this new ultrawide display - some cables worked, some didn't.
