My husband spent over an hour fitting them. He read other people's reviews, watched YouTube tutorials and still couldn't. I tried too. He probably took the controller apart and tried to assemble it 10 times. He inserted the new part into the on/off button part, but when he inserted that part into the rest of the controller, the buttons didn't click properly. He's tried all the tricks mentioned - loops, enlarging holes, etc. And it still didn't work. He ended up just placing the buttons on the main body without the piece covering the power button. When it was on, it pressed the buttons too hard against the main body and they couldn't press properly. Now that the cover is off he looks like Two-Face or Terminator with half a face missing haha. Not very good. I love that it comes with two pieces, but we tried both pieces and they just didn't fit.
