Perfect fit for my ham radio setup. Pretty straight forward work. The cable was long enough to run from the center of the roof of a 2014 Silverado, down the frame between the driver's side front and rear doors, forward along the floor panel, through the front and back to the center console where the radio is mounted with about 1' to spare. Total installation took about 5 minutes and didn't have to hold the part to thread. Also very happy with its performance. If you're happy with putting a PL259 connector on the end, you can get by with a smaller hole in the roof. But the required 3/4 inch hole is big enough
