I received this camera as a Christmas present for my four year old goddaughter. She always takes her mother's cell phone to play with the camera and I thought she would like to have her own digital camera. She went completely insane when she got this camera and it didn't take her long to learn how to use it. We showed her how to turn it on and take pictures and then look at the pictures and she figured out everything else on her own. She figured out how to change filters and colors, then ran off to show everyone. The camera already has many kid-friendly filters built in, like filters that show happy animals in a photo frame with you, or filters that invert the colors. In my goddaughter's eyes, her camera is now much better than her mother's cell phone camera. She runs and takes pictures of everyone. The quality isn't the best, but it doesn't matter if it's a kid's camera. The camera body is also very durable. My goddaughter dropped it several times and nothing broke.
