I am sewing a small cargo tag so using wall space rather than shelf space is very important to me. I bought two of these racks to store my many overlock thread cones. Another reviewer said the same thing about why he/she bought the rack and he/she was happy, but the cones don't really fit unless I move them, up one, down one, up one etc. Even then it's a little bruised. See photo. But I love the shelves and would buy them again. They are light and strong enough for the price. But putting them together - oh my god! I have arthritis in my hands so reading other reviews I knew it would be difficult but I didn't think it was impossible. I tried to connect them with my bare hands and rubber gloves but to no avail. Then I tried it with a rubber mallet. I then gave them to my local handyman. When the husband couldn't put them together with his hands, he turned to his plumbing pliers. That helped.
