This interactive toy has a wired remote control with 2 buttons, a star button and a paw button. I expected the star button to activate interactive dance mode and the paw button to move the dog forward. There are 60 interactions per pack. However, in my experience there was no real difference between the functionality of the two buttons. Both simply alternated between dancing, barking and moving forward about 2-3 feet. The variety consisted of a slightly different bark pattern and a few different dances and songs. I really wanted something that my kid could control and walk around. My child loved to dance but quickly lost interest if he couldn't get the dog to dance or move forward. I will be returning this "real mech" interactive toy and looking for a "real" remote control toy.
