Works very well. Actually, my mine didn't explode, and you really need to clean up the bird droppings that have settled on the roost. However, I can only compare it to unsafe chemical cleaners and they are pretty much on par. Leaves a thin mark on the surface it's used on, but that's no big deal. Some might even like it! (It almost adds softness to the surface). I will probably buy more in the near future. I'm deducting a star for the price. I keep this for my bird cage and use chemical cleaners on other surfaces to prolong its life.
