Review on 🎧 Panasonic RR930 Microcassette Transcriber/Recorder: Superior Audio Playback and Recording by Jeff Payne

It's a bit scary this thing made the high pitched sound I was scared of for 2 days but who knows how long it will be packed and possibly contaminated. A call to Panasonic at 800-405-0652 and a few prompts later and I was finally able to speak to the person. I was told to do a "head clean" on the machine. **** Take out the tape and while pressing the erase protect lever (it's a small lever on the right/top inside where the tape runs), press the record button. The wheels spin until you press stop. ********************* Actually, why didn't I have to "cleanse" my head with some alcohol? and a tampon over me. In any case, it still works. I hope this can help others. I will try to follow this issue and post any other problems/solutions. ****** TO UPDATE. Since 11/4/2009 we haven't had any problems at all. The machine is used 4-5 times a week for at least 2 hours a day. Again, I didn't have that awful screeching noise. It paid off pretty quickly ******
