Review on 🌞 Superior Illumination: Sunco Lighting Ultra Thin Recessed Certified - An Unmatched Lighting Solution by Gage Lawson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

As an electrician I can recommend them for price and light.

I ordered these 4 inch versions and just installed 6 of them in my living room. In general, the quality for the price justifies the purchase. The light is bright and the finished looks very smooth and beautiful. A few installation notes. You will need to purchase several 1/2" connectors to fill the gaps in the black junction box. I mean the plastic connectors that just plug in instead of the metal connectors that need to be secured with a nut and then tightened to the wire. They are in stock. With the 4" version you will not be able to insert the black junction box into the ceiling if your rack is right in the middle of the hole you cut in the drywall etc (photo attached). Thank goodness I have access to the attic otherwise I would have to cut drywall to stretch the wires! If you buy the 6 inch version I don't think you will have this problem with a bolt. I've never had any problems with the 6" version. They also come with wire nuts that can fit 2 wires under them, but that's tricky. I used the wire nuts provided and cut the copper to a shorter length after using two 14 -Gauge wires twisted together. Halo makes a version of this available at Home Depot. It requires no connectors and includes slot nuts. This is the best and easiest setup, but they also cost about $28 each. You can also use the tint change; you get what you pay for. Commercial electric lamps are also available for about $26 each. They require wire nuts and plugs, but you can also change the hue. Overall, they're worth what you pay for. Just place sure to get you the right size and shade for your occasion hope this helps.
